Thus airstrips can be created at will for night time flying with 0 visibility, and with out any equipment on board any aircraft. Flying can be done in secret as it can not be seen from the ground. Only the passengers and pilot in an aircraft flying the system can see the laser light. -- it is size of a small coffee table. The Laserline system merely sits on the end of the airstrip and signals to approaching aircraft.

Twenty five miles from the airstrip in zero visibility, with passenger and pilot unable to see city lights from homes -- all aboard can see a flashing white laser light running down the airstrip. As the pilot approaches; if his aircraft is too far to the left the entire airstrip turns the color red, if his aircraft is too far to the right the entire airstrip turns the color green. If the pilot is on course the airstrip turns the color yellow.

The system has been certified by the US Department of Defense. It is on US aircraft carriers. It is under extreme testing by the FAA and we expect certification for civilian use in the US within a year and one half. Los Angeles Airport has been pushing for exemption certification, due to fogging. It has been certified in the country of Mexico, where 30 have been purchased and one is in operation. It has been certified in the country of China, where 36 have been purchased by the military and one has been shipped. Israel has shown interest in the product at various air shows around the world.
